Motivate is looking for an E-bike Battery Charging Attendant to work the overnight shift and oversee the charging process for e-bike batteries for New York’s bikeshare system. Training for the role is provided.

About the Role

• Monitors the charging of lithium batteries in a warehouse environment
• Places batteries onto charging racks and into cases once fully charged
• Ensures the firmware on batteries is up to date and that inventory is accurate
• Logs battery issues into the tracking systems
• Supports battery swapping activities when needed

• You are flexible : Willingness and ability to work extra hours, off hours and/or weekends
• You are dependable : You arrive to work on time, finish assigned shifts, and have the ability to work various shifts and off hours as needed
• You display a strong work ethic : You follow instructions, ask questions for clarification, and complete tasks, projects, and assignments within timelines
• You meet requirements : ability to lift to 75 pounds; stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
