Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Field Service Representatives to provide technical support the Final Lifetime Extension Program (FLEP) for NATO E‑3 AWACS, associated mission/ground systems, and the Facility for Interoperability Testing (MCTR / SIL / SDE) at Geilenkirchen Air Base, Germany.
This is an on‑site, long‑term assignment (up to 3 years) providing hands‑on ISS (In Service Support), field engineering assistance, OJT, troubleshooting, and acceptance/test support for aircraft mission systems and ground systems (MPDS/DMPDS/IFGS/SIL/SDE).
Unlike most FSR roles responsible for supporting aircraft maintenance, this position is primarily focused on mission systems software and satellite communication. Supporting general aircraft maintenance and the AWACS radar system hardware beyond mission avionics/software may fall outside the responsibilities of this position. Prior hands‑on system administration and SATCOM experience with E-3 NATO FLEP, E-3 AWACS, or other AEWC platforms is needed to be successful in this role. FSRs are the in‑person Boeing “face” to the customer, so personal appearance (grooming and dress), a helpful and friendly demeanor, and the ability to speak and write in a professional, unambiguous manner while working unsupervised for extended periods of time are paramount.
Working hours will nominally be 5 days a week (M‑F), 8 hours per day. Additionally, FSRs must be willing to work flexible hours (i.e., on‑call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week) as the job requires. At the sole discretion of leadership, an FSR must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.
Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.
Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
Relocation benefits will be provided only to the international assignment.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
