Job summary

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants provides specialized dysphagia evaluations and mobile swallowing studies across Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The practice is part of a network with sister locations in New England, Texas and Houston.

The physician will conduct swallowing evaluations, perform modified barium swallow studies, operate the mobile examination unit, and coordinate scheduling to meet requests within 24–72 hours.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with training in dysphagia management.
• Experience with swallowing studies preferred.
• Licensed physician in the relevant state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct swallowing evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders.
• Perform modified barium swallow studies and other dysphagia assessments.
• Operate mobile examination unit and coordinate scheduling to meet requests within 24–72 hours, often same day.
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and support staff across multiple facilities.
• Encourage physicians with varied experience levels to apply.
