Job summary

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants provides specialized dysphagia evaluations and mobile swallowing studies across Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The practice is part of a network with sister locations in New England, Texas and Houston.

Compensation reflects physician-level responsibilities with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and a retirement plan, and regular daytime hours, avoiding weekend or night calls.

Qualifications

• Clinical evaluation of oropharyngeal swallow disorders.
• Ability to coordinate mobile studies and dispatch logistics.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with speech-language pathologists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct swallowing evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders.
• Perform modified barium swallow studies and other dysphagia assessments.
• Operate mobile examination unit and coordinate scheduling to meet requests within 24–72 hours, often same day.
• Collaborate with speech–language pathologists and support staff across multiple facilities.
• All physicians with varied experience levels are encouraged to apply.
