Job summary

KIPP Texas is seeking a Manager of Literacy Interventions to oversee dyslexia programming across a portfolio of campuses, ensuring fidelity to TEA requirements and alignment with MTSS.

The role partners with APSS leaders and Literacy Facilitators to build strong intervention systems, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based instruction for students with dyslexia and related supports.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certification; preferred Special Education, ELAR/Reading, ESL, and Bilingual.
• Texas Dyslexia certification/training required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in literacy intervention, dyslexia services, MTSS, or related instructional leadership.
• Principal certification or instructional leadership experience preferred.
• Experience coaching teachers and campus leaders.
• Experience in Texas public schools and TEA dyslexia requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for dyslexia programming across KIPP Texas schools.
• Ensure services align with TEA Dyslexia Handbook and state requirements.
• Monitor dyslexia intervention schedules, groupings, service minutes, and progress monitoring.
• Audit dyslexia documentation, service logs, and progress data for fidelity.
• Partner with APSS leaders to ensure accommodations and supports across settings.
• Support campuses in audits, state monitoring, and cyclical reviews of dyslexia programming.
• Coach APSS leaders and Literacy Facilitators in high-quality intervention systems.
• Align dyslexia services within the MTSS framework for strong Tier 2/3 systems.
