Job summary

Waco ISD seeks a Teacher – Special Ed to serve as a Special Education Case Manager for students with IEPs, developing and overseeing plan implementation and monitoring progress. You will collect data and collaborate with campus staff to ensure compliance with ARD processes and effective instructional strategies, while providing specially-designed instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate(s) with required special education endorsements for assignments.
• Knowledge of disability categories and ability to develop specially-designed instruction.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Special Education Case Manager responsibilities per handbook and district procedures.
• Develop and oversee IEP implementation and progress monitoring.
• Report progress to parent(s)/guardian(s) as outlined in IEPs.
• Train general education teachers on implementing IEPs and ARD decisions.
• Collaborate to ensure services align with IEPs and general curriculum.
