ETE REMAN in Milwaukee, WI is hiring a Dyno Operator to test and verify transmission units on the dyno, ensuring compliance with standards before shipping. You will inspect, operate, and thoroughly test units, working with the production team to meet daily demands.

The role requires focus, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to work in a fast-paced remanufacturing environment. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lb and stand long hours.

Formación

• Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma
• Previous dyno experience and mechanical ability is a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hours

Responsabilidades

• Operate dynamometer (dyno) to test transmission units and classify units as pass/fail based on data
• Ensure correct program is used for testing and monitor computer and unit during testing
• Identify and differentiate between normal and abnormal noises; prep units for dyno and use overhead crane
• Visually inspect units for defects and install/remove hoses; process at min 4 units per hour
• Verify serial number and build sheet matches job/order number for correct unit
• Use computer system to monitor workload and customer shipping orders
• Follow all processes and procedures; perform and schedule preventative maintenance on equipment
• Suggest improvements; help train new personnel and work overtime when needed
• Follow directions from supervisors and be proactive; inform supervisor of issues
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment; be at workstation on time daily
