Amazon.com Services LLC's DynamoDB Performance Analysis team is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a group that builds expertise in data analysis and performance qualification across DynamoDB's core systems. You'll drive scalable, self-service capabilities for latency analysis, attribution, and bottleneck identification, partnering with cross-functional teams to align requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic program management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
• 3+ years of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on data analysis and performance optimization across DynamoDB's core systems
• Define team charter, vision, and roadmaps to deliver standardized, scalable self-service capabilities for performance analysis
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and deliver solutions for latency data analysis and attribution
• Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for performance qualification tools and bottleneck identification systems
• Establish mechanisms to scale team operations while maintaining end-to-end ownership of delivered software systems
