Job summary

K2 Space is seeking a dynamics-focused engineer to own loads and environments derivation for satellites during ground transport, launch, and on-orbit operations. You will build tools and workflows to support analyses in frequency and time domains, and correlate physics models with measured data.

Within the first months you will define testing, qualification and acceptance activities, delivering well-derived requirements and insights for reliable, mass-producible spacecraft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or mathematics.
• 1+ years of work experience in dynamics from industry, research, internships or academic projects.

Responsibilities

• Support dynamic testing at the component and subsystem level, including test planning and coordination.
• Develop physics models using finite element analysis (e.g., Nastran) or Python.
• Create software tools for data processing and simulation frameworks.
• Collaborate with design engineers, analysts, and external customers on satellite products.
