Job summary
JCS Solutions seeks a Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Lead to own the technical direction of Microsoft cloud solutions for federal customers. You’ll guide an Agile team from requirements through deployment, working with government stakeholders and developers to turn business needs into secure, scalable solutions, and embed DevSecOps practices.
You will travel within the National Capital Region as needed and may be onsite in Fairfax, VA with a Secret clearance preferred.
Qualifications
- 7+ years designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft business applications and cloud solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/Customer Engagement.
- Experience building and implementing solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Experience integrating Microsoft platforms with outside applications, services, and enterprise data sources.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Solution Leadership and Design across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements with stakeholders.
- Map business needs to platform capabilities and translate into detailed designs.
- Connect Microsoft SaaS platforms to enterprise systems using modern APIs and cloud services.
- Lead Agile development teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions and mentor staff.
- Support technical proposals, solution architecture reviews, and client briefings.
- Set deployment strategy, provisioning, configuration management, and environments across Dev/Test/Prod.
- Build and maintain DevSecOps practices using Azure DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development.
- Design testing regimes including system, regression, integration, and UAT, plus data validation.
- Ensure security, governance, continuity of operations, and disaster recovery alignment.

Job Summary
JCS Solutions is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Lead to own the technical direction of Microsoft cloud solutions for our federal customers.
You’ll be the go-to technical authority across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure. You’ll guide an Agile team from requirements through deployment and beyond. Day to day, you’ll work with government stakeholders, project managers, and developers to turn business needs into secure, scalable solutions. You’ll also build DevSecOps discipline and modern cloud practices into how the team delivers.
The onsite schedule depends on mission needs and may increase up to full-time onsite. You’ll also travel periodically within the National Capital Region for customer meetings, workshops, deployments, and other program needs.
Location: Fairfax, VA
Clearance: Secret (preferred)
Salary: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00
Certification: Active DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification

- Own the technical design, customization, integration, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft SaaS solutions, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Map business needs to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities and turn them into practical technical designs.

- Team Leadership and Delivery
- Lead Agile development teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Coach and mentor developers, administrators, and project staff with hands-on technical guidance.
- Support technical proposals, solution architecture reviews, and client briefings as needed.
- DevSecOps, Environments, and Quality
- Set the strategy for deployment, provisioning, configuration management, and environments across development, test, staging, and production.
- Build and maintain DevSecOps practices using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure development methods.
- Design and oversee testing, including system, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), plus data validation.
- Compliance, Sustainment, and Improvement
- Keep solutions in line with security, governance, and operational requirements, including continuity of operations and disaster recovery.
- Lead post-deployment work, including knowledge transfer, training, user support, and ongoing improvements.
- Find ways to improve system performance, business processes, and user experience with Microsoft technologies.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- 7+ years designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft business applications and cloud solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/Customer Engagement.
- Experience building and implementing solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Experience integrating Microsoft platforms with outside applications, services, and enterprise data sources.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience leading technical teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to lead projects, balance competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results.
- An active DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification, such as one of the following: Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP+ CE, CCNA-Security, CCNP Security, CCSP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CND, GCED, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered instead of a degree.
- Active Secret clearance
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting federal government customers
- Knowledge of case management solutions and workflow automation platforms
- Experience with data migration, system modernization, and cloud transformation
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements, and Zero Trust architectures
