Itransition Group is seeking a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant who also builds and maintains automated regression tests. The candidate will work across cross-functional teams, document requirements, configure F&O modules, and manage regression suites in RSAT and Azure DevOps.

The role requires 3-4+ years in D365 F&O, strong Finance/SCM/Production knowledge, Excel data parameterization, and fluency in English. Remote-friendly with evolving tooling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with stakeholders; translate to functional specs.
• Configure D365 F&O modules (Finance, SCM, Production, etc.).
• Prepare functional documentation: flows, guides, manuals.
• Coordinate UAT with business; triage defects and retesting.
• Deliver end-user training and post-go-live support.
• Liaise between business, development and implementation partners.
• Record processes with Task Recorder and publish to BPM library.
• Build and maintain regression test suites with RSAT; parameterize tests in Excel.
• Manage test plans in Azure DevOps and review run results.
• Keep test suites up to date after D365 updates; track defects with developers.

## DescriptionWe are looking for a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant who combines core functional expertise with hands-on experience building and maintaining automated regression tests. Note on tooling and transition period: Microsoft has marked RSAT for deprecation, with support ending May 15, 2027. RSAT remains fully supported and is expected to stay in active use for the foreseeable term of this role, but the industry is already shifting toward composable and AI-native test automation platforms (natural-language test authoring, self-healing tests, reusable test-journey libraries).
