Job summary

The DYN Collective is seeking a Dynamics 365 CE Developer to join a forward-thinking, AI-first Microsoft consulting team. You will design, develop, and extend solutions across Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform, building scalable, AI-enhanced business apps.

You will work with architects, consultants, and clients to translate requirements into robust technical designs, integrate with external systems via REST APIs and Azure services, and advance ALM and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on development with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM and/or Power Platform.
• Experience with Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform development.
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems via APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Service Bus.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CE architecture, security models, data structures, and solution management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and ALM within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and extend solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform.
• Build and configure model-driven apps, Dataverse solutions, Power Automate flows, business process flows, custom connectors, and integrations.
• Develop integrations between Dynamics 365 and external applications using REST APIs, Azure services, middleware, and other integration technologies.
• Work with solution architects and functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Extend out-of-the-box Dynamics 365 functionality while following Microsoft-recommended development and architecture practices.
• Explore and implement AI-enabled capabilities using technologies such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, and related Microsoft AI services.
• Build custom copilots, agents, automations, and AI-assisted experiences that connect with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and enterprise data.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve both client solutions and internal development processes.
• Support application lifecycle management (ALM), including solution management, source control, automated deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and scalable.
• Participate in technical discovery sessions, solution design discussions, code reviews, estimations, and architecture planning.
• Stay current with Microsoft’s rapidly evolving roadmap across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot, agents, and Azure AI.

We are looking for a Dynamics 365 CE Developer to join a forward-thinking, AI-first Microsoft consulting team. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who has strong experience building and extending Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform solutions and is excited about how AI, Copilot, and intelligent automation are changing the way business applications are designed and delivered.

You’ll work alongside solution architects, functional consultants, AI specialists, and clients to build scalable solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. While Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform will be at the core of your work, you’ll also have opportunities to incorporate Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, and emerging Microsoft AI capabilities into modern business applications.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM and/or Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse, model-driven applications, Power Automate, and Power Platform solution development.
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems using APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CE architecture, security models, data structures, and solution management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and application lifecycle management within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Ability to take functional or business requirements and translate them into well-designed technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across both configuration and custom development.
• Experience working in a consulting, Microsoft Partner, or client-facing environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You do not need to be a pure AI engineer, but you should be excited about building in an AI-first environment. Experience with any of the following is highly valued:

• Microsoft Copilot Studio, including custom copilots and autonomous or agent-based solutions.
• Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI Service.
• Connecting AI experiences to Dataverse, Dynamics 365, APIs, and enterprise data sources.
• AI Builder, intelligent document processing, or AI-powered Power Platform solutions.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Azure AI Search, or grounding AI solutions with enterprise data.
• Using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and code quality.

Microsoft certifications are a plus, particularly:
