Business Manager - President at The DYN Collective

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice. In this role, you will design and lead data architecture and migration strategies for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) implementations across a variety of industries. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure that data models, integrations, and migrations are optimized for performance, scalability, and business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect end-to-end data strategies for Dynamics 365 CE projects, including data modeling, migration, integration, and reporting.
• Design and optimize data models for Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse to support core CRM processes and analytics.
• Lead the design and implementation of ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft Fabric (preferred), Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or equivalent.
• Define and manage data migration processes from legacy CRM and third-party systems into Dynamics 365 CE.
• Architect Data Warehousing and Data Lake solutions to support enterprise reporting and analytics needs.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical leads to ensure data solutions align with overall solution architecture and Microsoft best practices.
• Conduct data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.
• Provide guidance and best practices for data governance, data quality, and security.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to building data architecture standards within the practice.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in Data Modeling & Design for enterprise applications, with an emphasis on CRM and customer data.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
• Proven experience architecting Data Warehousing and Data Lake solutions on Azure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and modern data fabric concepts (preferred).
• Experience leading data migration initiatives into Dynamics 365 CE/CRM and Dataverse.
• Solid understanding of the Dynamics 365 CE data model, entity relationships, and integration points.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive Data Architecture Workshops.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect, or Dynamics 365 CE certifications.
• Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) as part of data architecture strategies.
• Prior experience working within a Microsoft Partner environment on Dynamics 365 projects.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards for regulated industries.
