Position: Dynamics 365 Systems Architect

This role involves providing application development and integration services to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget supporting Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC), and Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP). Responsibilities include designing, maintaining, developing, and enhancing agency applications within the framework of the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM). The role entails development, testing, and deployment of application releases, updates, and modifications in a client/server and web server environment. The System Architect will provide advanced technical support for the Dynamics 365 Platform and lead project tasks such as requirements gathering, planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.

Skillset

1. 5+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations
2. 5+ years of architect experience
3. 3+ years of experience with Power Platform solutions, particularly Power Automate and Power Pages
4. 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps
5. 3+ years of database architecture experience
6. 5+ years of infrastructure/network and application support experience
7. Experience designing and documenting technical architecture solutions spanning multiple platforms, including integration and authentication across systems
8. Experience defining, communicating, and managing CICD/release processes for Dynamics 365 technologies
9. Ability to identify risks and issues from a technical perspective
10. Experience with APIs
11. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
12. Ability to prepare detailed instructions and documentation
13. Effective communication skills for reports and presentations
14. Experience in analysis and requirements gathering with customers
15. Strong problem-solving skills and seeking optimal solutions
16. Ability to communicate technical concepts appropriately to different audiences

20. Extensive experience with MS Dynamics, MS Azure, and application support for 5+ years
