Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry-level material handler to manage the flow of materials on site. You will operate both motorized and non-motorized handling equipment and work under the supervision of foreman and senior handlers.

Expected duties include lifting and stacking items, adhering to safety procedures, and continuously learning work processes to improve efficiency on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials and products to ensure smooth flow on premises.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Respond to training from foreman or senior handlers to improve work processes.
• Observe safety procedures to prevent injury to self and others; attend safety meetings.
