Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse/Yard Coordinator in Olathe, KS. The role focuses on safely operating equipment, receiving and organizing materials, and delivering parts to field crews. You will stage materials, monitor stock, and keep the yard clean in a mostly outdoor setting.

Typical duties include loading/unloading, inventory checks, and assisting crews with general labor. A valid driver's license and tolerance for physical outdoor work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with general labor, warehouse work, or material handling.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and confidently.
• Comfort working with equipment such as track loaders and other construction-related machinery.
• Strong organizational skills to keep materials, tools, and supplies clearly labeled and accessible.
• Ability to stay productive and focused without constant supervision.
• Willingness to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in non-climate-controlled environments.
• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Reliability in showing up on time and consistently for scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and track loaders safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and organize items in designated storage areas.
• Stage materials and equipment so field crews have what they need before work begins.
• Deliver parts and supplies to field crews in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor inventory levels to help prevent stockouts of materials and supplies.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and free of unnecessary clutter.
• Identify messes or disorganized areas and proactively correct them without being asked.
• Support field crews by jumping in to help with general labor tasks when needed.
• Handle material loading and unloading for trucks and other vehicles.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions while performing physical labor.
• Collaborate with other team members and maintain a positive, cooperative working atmosphere.
