Job summary

New Century FS in Ames, Iowa, is seeking a motivated operations assistant to help with daily duties at the facility. You will support retail operations, follow maintenance schedules, assist with inventory and distribution, and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.

You may drive local routes, stock warehouse items, and work with both full-time and part-time staff to meet goals while upholding GROWMARK's safety and conduct standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record; forklift certification and CDL required.
• Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations at retail supply location.
• Follow maintenance schedule of facility and equipment.
• Assist with inventory and distribution of products.
• Drive and deliver miscellaneous products as requested.
• Stock and move warehouse product and material.
• Assist both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
• Maintain the facility, equipment, and company image.
• Assist in obtaining goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work with location manager on safety and compliance issues.
