Job summary

New Century FS in Ames, Iowa, seeks a diligent operations assistant to help run the retail supply location. You will assist with daily tasks, follow the facility and equipment maintenance schedule, and support inventory and product distribution.

You may drive and deliver as needed, keep the warehouse organized, and collaborate with the location manager to address safety and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced commercial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work with supervision to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certificate and CDL.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and safety awareness.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations at retail supply location.
• Follow maintenance schedule of facility and equipment.
• Assist with inventory and distribution of products.
• Drive and deliver miscellaneous products as requested.
• Stock and move warehouse product and material.
• Work with location manager on safety and compliance issues.
• Support other operations staff as needed.
