Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Material Handler to join our distribution team. You will receive, pack, process, ship, or store merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.

Full-time roles typically require 30+ hours per week with weekend shifts and varied schedules based on store needs. Responsibilities include receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, equipment operation, and cross-training across facility areas.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Read, understand and interpret employment policies and safety rules in English.
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently and in a team.
• Proficient in using computers and handheld technology.

Responsibilities

• Receive prep, putaway, pick, sort, pack and ship merchandise safely and accurately.
• Cross train in multiple areas of the facility.
• Operate PCs and handheld devices accurately and productively.
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
