Job summary

Beverage South Distributors in GA/SC is hiring Material Handlers for First and Second shift to support outbound operations and customer service with the warehouse team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn Beverage South warehouse practices and assist manager with enforcement.
• Meet productivity standards to hit timelines and budgets.
• Support outbound operations and meet customer/internal timing needs.
• Perform receiving, storage, order fulfillment and keep area clean.
• Adapt to shift-specific tasks as required by supervisor.
• Interface professionally with customers, carriers and contractors.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and promote safe work behaviours.
• Limit product damage; ensure proper loading/unloading.
• Operate and understand WMS (VIP) and maintain accuracy.
• Use FIFO to rotate inventory and verify locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through WMS and manual checks.
• Keep workspace clean with visual management tools.
• Regularly inspect facilities/equipment and report issues.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
