Job summary

WebstaurantStore Food Service Equipment and Supply Company is seeking a Material Handler to unload, check in, stock, pick, consolidate, pack, and ship inventory in the warehouse. The role requires operating warehouse equipment and using our ERP system to ensure accurate inbound and outbound processing.

Responsibilities

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by hand
• Use ERP system to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiently, ready to be placed in storage racking
• Move palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock or transport product to other areas
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device
• Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently using handheld scanning devices and ERP system
• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
• Pack products accurately and securely using our SPS system, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following safety protocols
• Meet all performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety guidelines
• Work with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and departments as needed to support operations
