Job summary

NFI is seeking a Material Handler to move materials, supplies, and finished goods within the facility and onto trucks. The role emphasizes safe, accurate handling and may include housekeeping duties to keep a clean work environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, picking and packing orders, applying labels, using RF scanners, and supporting cycle counts and inventories as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Move materials manually or with a hand truck within the facility.
• Load finished product onto pallets or hand trucks.
• Stack skids or pallets in storage or staging areas.
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
• Apply labels to shipments per requirements.
• Process orders including packing and shipment confirmations.
• Verify freight accuracy and inspect for damage.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Use RF scanning devices for inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
