Job summary

Norman Public Schools is seeking a Warehouse Worker/Driver to deliver merchandise to multiple sites and manage stock within the warehouse. The role requires a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and forklift operation experience, with 1–2 years of related work.

Tasks include loading/unloading, inventory checks, and record-keeping. The position reports to the Warehouse Foreman, follows a 240-day contract, and involves manual handling, safety adherence, and occasional cross-site transfers of furniture

Qualifications

• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of directly related warehouse experience; forklift operation is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and vans to deliver merchandise to the various sites.
• Load and unload vehicles; transport merchandise to proper location.
• Check in orders; inspect against purchase orders; input data into log or computer.
• Stock shelves manually or with lift machinery; perform inventory periodically.
• Work with UPS drivers and other drivers unloading merchandise.
• Keep records relative to movement/transfer of furniture and equipment; input data as needed.
• Maintain warehouse and equipment; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
