Job summary

Amcor is hiring for a warehouse position in Manchester, IA. You will operate equipment to move, load and unload shipments, assemble orders, and maintain accurate receiving and shipping procedures.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Eligible candidates should have 2–5 years in a warehouse setting, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs (49 lbs occasionally) and work at heights.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 49 lbs.
• Ability to work at elevated heights.
• Basic computer systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Operates hand truck or various trucks to move or convey shipments.
• Assembles finished goods, orders and loads shipments based on established procedures.
• Prepares skids, straps, stretch wraps, weighs and maintains incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials and executes all shipping/receiving duties.
• Restocks and collaborates with Production department; assists in training new employees.
