Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping Associate to maintain a safe, clean, and accurate environment. You will track inventory for load scheduling, communicate issues affecting on-time delivery, and ensure proper pallet movement.

The role requires forklift certification and strict adherence to GMP/SQF and food safety standards. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, maintaining security of the facility and equipment, and identifying opportunities to prevent non-conformities in

Qualifications

Must be forklift certified and able to pass written test and performance evaluation.
Understanding of DC link related to shipments (loading), staging, transfers and pallet movement.
Familiar with GMP and SQF compliance requirements.
Knowledge of food safety compliance and related policies.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, clean, and accurate warehouse and shipping environment.
Track inventory for load scheduling.
Communicate customer or carrier issues affecting on-time delivery (stock issues, trailer defects, etc).
Ensure proper pallet movement and loading processes.
Adhere to GMP and SQF practices and food safety requirements.
Respond to emergencies and maintain security of facility and equipment.
Identify and address non-conformities in product or quality systems and suggest improvements.
