Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while delivering professional customer service.

You will operate forklift and warehouse equipment, maintain inventory, complete cycle counts and paperwork accurately, and follow safety procedures. The role requires 1+ year of warehouse experience, with forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid drivers license.
• 1+ year of warehouse experience.
• 1+ year of forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to pass safety tests and forklift certification in-house within 30 days.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material.
• Receive items per procedure and stock them in assigned locations.
• Maintain inventory and prepare cycle counts.
• Complete Will Calls.
• Process paperwork and entries accurately and on time.
• Wear proper PPE and uniform at all times.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping; report concerns.
• Assist customers and CSRs as needed.
• Follow SOPs, work processes, and company policies.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
