OmniCable is hiring a Distribution Center Associate/Warehouse Associate in Carol Stream, IL. The role focuses on operating production equipment (Rim Drive or Re-spooler) to cut wire to length and support standard order fulfillment tasks.

You will handle forklift/order picking, receiving, and shipping duties with a focus on accuracy and safety, while adhering to 5S standards and preparing products for customer shipments.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and 18+ years old.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills.
• High energy with teamwork and communication skills.
• Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
• Work environment includes fluctuating temperatures in a distribution center.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE including forklift/order picker to pull, move and store material.
• Receive inbound stock, verify quantities and PO/bill of lading accuracy, enter into the system.
• Prepare shipments for LTL and small parcels; ensure proper packing and accuracy.
• Run wire-related value-add equipment for order fulfillment.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow 5S standards.
