Job summary

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking experienced Warehouse Associates for 1st & 2nd shifts at a new distribution facility in Smyrna, DE. You will assist with shipping/receiving, verify orders, and help keep a safe, efficient warehouse running to meet delivery timelines.

Ideal candidates have basic English, general computer skills, and experience with handheld scanners. Willingness to work varied shifts and prior dock experience are preferred for operational success.

Qualifications

• Basic English written and verbal communication required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse technology systems.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends) based on freight volumes.
• Prior dock or warehouse experience in transportation/logistics preferred.
• Experience loading/unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
• Experience using handheld scanners and inventory equipment.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram instructions.
• Ability to load/unload trucks while maintaining safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities including unloading trucks and verifying merchandise.
• Read and interpret orders and shipping documents to determine materials to move or ship.
• Maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment for staff and customers.
• Complete duties safely according to company policies and best practices.
• Assemble products and participate in cycle counts and inventory verification.
• Conduct driver check calls to monitor shipment status and on-schedule deliveries.
• Verify load data and documents before marking shipments as delivered for accurate billing.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time delivery and condition compliance.
