Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with students, staff, administrators, parents, the community, and the press/media.
• Proficiency in teaching the fundamentals of the assigned sport, including regulations, rules, and strategies.
• Familiarity with facilities, equipment, and basic emergency first aid procedures.
• Dedication to the philosophy of fair play and sportsmanship.
• Commitment to supporting the school, school district, and athletic conference by attending related meetings.
• Availability for practices, competitions, and bus trips, including weekends; regular attendance is required.
• Eagerness to pursue opportunities for personal and programmatic improvement.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education; Previous coaching experience; Knowledge of MHSAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop athletes in the varsity girls wrestling program.
• Work under the Athletic Director to champion Wildcat athletics and overall physical fitness.
• Attend practices, competitions, and related events, including weekends.
