Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years teller or new accounts experience preferred.
• Sales and service orientation with professional demeanor.
• Team player who works well with Customer Service Tellers and Relationship Bankers.
• Highly professional with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent computer, typing, and math skills required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between teller line and customer service desk.
• Provide superior customer service experience, based on Service Beyond Expectations pillars.
• Perform routine banking transactions (deposits, checks, payments, cash orders, coin processing, official checks).
• Open consumer and business accounts including loans and deposits.
• Assist clients with account inquiries, online/mobile services, debit cards, transfers, and overdraft assistance.
• Open and/or assist with CDARS and IRA accounts/transactions.
• Refer customers to sales and referral opportunities to achieve branch goals.
• Adhere to bank policies and protect assets and security.
• Accurately complete information on systems and forms.
