Job summary

North American Banking Company in the Twin Cities area is seeking a Universal Banker to assist customers with deposits and loans, promote bank products, and process transactions in a courteous, timely manner.

You will participate in sales promotions, handle cash with accuracy, and provide backup teller support as needed. Previous banking experience is a plus, and excellent communication is essential to build lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with deposit and loan transactions.
• Promote and sell consumer and business deposit products by interviewing customers to determine needs.
• Refer loans, mortgage loans, and investment prospects to the appropriate sales representative.
• Maintain teller cash drawer and follow cash handling guidelines.
• Support tellers and back-up cashiering tasks as needed.
• Participate in bank sales promotions and community activities.
