Job summary

Woods Dental Group and Orthodontics seeks a Specialty Dental Assistant in Conroe, TX to support clinicians across Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Pediatric dentistry. You will maintain infection control, assist with radiographs, prepare trays, and ensure smooth coordination with front desk and team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a one-year certificate or equivalent; reliable transportation for multi-site travel is required.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training.
• License/registration as required by state for Specialty Dental Assistants.
• Driver's license and auto insurance; travel to multiple offices.
• Reliable transportation for daily travel to offices.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned and subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state dental auxiliaries guidelines.
• Maintain sterile, clean operatory and infection control.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk and clinicians.
• Assist clinicians with procedures and radiographs as directed.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supply levels.
• Record patient charts and clinician notes in the digital system.
• Support care by presenting treatment records and consent forms.
• Ensure equipment is maintained per manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborate with Lead Dental Assistant on supplies and scheduling.
