Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Montesano, WA. You’ll evaluate, treat, and educate patients, delivering evidence-based therapy in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

Qualifications

Required: Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
Required: Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations and treatment need.
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
Operate specialized physical therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices.
Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued progress.
