Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Tactical Buyer in San Jose, CA for a 6-month contract. You will own tactical supplier relationships, support sourcing activities, and drive procurement efficiency. Work closely with Sourcing Leads to resolve issues and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• 3+ years in maintaining inventory, production, or material records in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Experience with tactical procurement and supplier relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage tactical, non-critical suppliers and day-to-day relationships.
• Oversee requisition-to-pay processes and resolve invoicing exceptions.
• Support sourcing activities including market investigations and supplier selection.
• Negotiate and manage single-event contracts under guidance from Sourcing Leads.
• Drive supplier performance improvements and procurement process efficiency.
