Job summary

The Bay Club Company in Manhattan Beach is seeking a Summer Camp Sports Instructor to lead camp rotations in Tennis, Aquatics, Pickleball, or Golf for children aged 3–15. You will ensure a safe, engaging environment with age-appropriate instruction and promote skill development within your sport.

You will supervise activities, plan drills and games, greet families, and collaborate with the Family Programming Director to communicate progress and ensure a fun, skill-building experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience working with children in childcare, camp, coaching, or instructional setting.
• Competitive playing experience at high school or collegiate level in Aquatics, Tennis, Pickleball, or Golf.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service attitude.
• Organized, detail oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Organize campers ages three to fifteen for specialized sports rotations.
• Provide a safe, clean environment by maintaining sports areas and proper storage of equipment.
• Supervise campers during sports activities and address safety concerns promptly.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate sports activities to foster skill development and fun.
• Greet parents and children warmly and encourage participation.
• Communicate with the Family Programming Director and parents regarding camper progress or issues.
