Job summary

Papillion La Vista Community Schools is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide a positive, safe, and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. You will follow lesson plans, deliver instruction aligned with subject areas, and adapt activities as needed to meet student needs.

You will collaborate with students, staff, and families, communicate professionally with stakeholders, and help maintain continuity of instruction to support student success when the classroom

Qualifications

• Nebraska Department of Education certification required (local NDE certificates accepted).
• Previous classroom experience or equivalent educational experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and follow lesson plans.
• Flexible and adaptable to a variety of school environments and teaching needs.
