Ulster BOCES Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning Programs is seeking Substitute Teachers for assignments for the 2026-2027 school year. Fingerprinting is required. Rate of pay is $147.00 per day. Experience with elementary and/or secondary education students is preferred.

Positions involve meeting and instructing classes, planning aligned with IEPs, maintaining lesson plans, and upholding district policies. UPC: Equal Opportunity Employer.

Aufgaben

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated by the administrator.
• Plans a program of study that is consistent with the individualized education plan.
• Maintains written lesson plans and communicates objectives to students.
• Employs varied instructional techniques and media appropriate to location and students.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students.
• Protects students, equipment, materials and facilities.
• Assists administration in implementing policies and rules governing student conduct and behavior.
