Job summary

Sub Teacher Source is seeking substitute teachers in Missouri to deliver prepared lessons and ensure continuity in student learning across diverse classrooms. You will adapt to different grade levels while sustaining a positive, productive environment and follow district policies.

This role offers a flexible schedule, daily and long-term assignments, weekly pay, and professional development within a network of partner schools.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Missouri Substitute Certificate or Missouri Teaching License through the DESE.
• Must have 36+ college credits or Frontline Training.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be a Missouri resident.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Previous experience in teaching or substitute teaching is highly desirable.
• Must be able to pick up last-minute on-call assignments and be available Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to ensure continuity in students' education.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and grade levels while maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
• Follow all school district policies and procedures.
