Qualifications

• Valid Georgia PSC Certificate.
• Service Certification (S) in School Psychology (P-12).

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals for initial psychological assessment and reevaluation in special education programs.
• Demonstrate understanding of psychometric characteristics of assessment instruments.
• Demonstrate consultative skills in parent, teacher and student conferences.
• Communicate psychological assessment results and recommendations verbally and in reports.
• Participate in eligibility and program decisions for students with disabilities.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• Recommend remedial and intervention procedures for students.
• Manage time and resources effectively.
• Provide differential diagnosis in areas of intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disorders.
