Job summary

SPENGA is seeking energetic fitness instructors to lead SPENGA classes combining spin, strength, and yoga. You will complete the SPENGA Certification and teach multi-component workouts designed to engage groups of up to 20 participants.

Ambassadors for the SPENGA brand, instructors promote the culture within the studio and through outreach, while delivering exceptional customer service and sales. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Current personal/group training certification; spin and yoga certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to SPENGA’s fitness philosophy.
• Ability to multi-task and command a room.
• Motivation, energy, and confidence.
• Experience or certifications in personal/group fitness training, spinning, or yoga.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Must complete in-house instructor training and pass audition.

Responsibilities

• Complete SPENGA Certification in spin, strength, and yoga.
• Teach classes consisting of spin, strength, and yoga components.
• Create and lead workouts according to the SPENGA model.
• Safely engage and motivate groups of 20 people through a fast-paced workout.
• Modify exercises on demand to cater to a range of fitness levels.
• Retain and increase client participation.
• Set up and reset studio equipment before and after classes.
• Promote, sell, and add to SPENGA culture in and out of the studio.
