Job summary

You will evaluate referrals, develop treatment plans, collaborate with physicians, supervise aides and trainees, document progress, and ensure services align with third-party requirements. A master’s degree in speech-language pathology and CCC or CFY are required.

Qualifications

• Credentialed graduate with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
• CCC or CFY status as applicable; licensed in the practicing state.
• Prior experience in speech pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and medical records to determine required speech therapy.
• Plan and prepare treatment programs based on data and evaluation.
• Consult with physicians to adjust treatment and integrate care.
• Record treatment, response, and progress for each resident.
• Assist in planning services; supervise aides and trainee clinicians.
• Diagnose and evaluate speech, language, swallowing, and related abilities.
• Direct and conduct programs to restore communicative efficiency.
• Manage swallowing-disorder assessments and bedside evaluations.
• Maintain confidentiality and documentation for reimbursement.

Education

Master’s degree in speech-language pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

Licensed in practicing state

Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
