Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field is required.
• Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license required at hire (ASHA certification preferred).
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Kaiser Permanente quality, safety, and emergency policies and procedures.
• Interview patients, obtain case histories, and evaluate speech, language, and voice problems.
• Plan, evaluate and revise treatment methods to meet patients' needs.
• Provide short-term therapy within benefit guidelines.
• Coordinate with physicians and other disciplines regarding referrals and patient care programs.
• Teach and counsel patients and families to improve communication skills.
