Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat language, speech, and swallowing disorders. You will communicate with patients and liaise with families, physicians, and educators to design effective treatment plans using established and innovative therapies.

The role requires a master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, SLP certification, and current basic life support with TB and COVID-19 considerations addressed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders.
• Certification as speech-language pathologist.
• Current BLS (required), ACLS (preferred).
• Current TB within the last year.
• COVID card.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat language, speech and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with patient, family, physicians and teachers to design treatment plans.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans using evidence-based therapies.
• Address articulation, language, fluency, voice, hearing, cognitive and social communication aspects.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
