Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher in South El Monte, CA to deliver quality services to K-12 students under the Special Education Program Administrator. This contract—full time—offers 40 hours per week and pays $45 per hour, with responsibilities including planning with teams and coordinating with general education staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and a valid state teaching certificate; LBS1 endorsement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality services to special education students K–12.
• Participate in planning and implementation of student programs with team.
• Coordinate with general education staff for instruction and consultation.
