Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Teacher Special Education to serve All Grades for the 2026-2027 school year in Georgia. The role requires implementing AKS-aligned instruction for students with disabilities within the GCPS framework and collaborating with regular educators and families to support student growth.

The candidate will plan assessments, develop objectives, and use evidence-based strategies while incorporating technology to enhance learning and ensure compliance with IDEA/IEP requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education from PSC-approved college/university required.
• Knowledge of GCPS AKS curriculum and integration of technology into instruction.
• Experience preferred in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide learning experiences based on the AKS curriculum and foster intellectual, physical, social, and emotional student development.
• Demonstrate command of the subject and provide direct or specially designed instruction aligned to IEPs.
• Consult with classroom teachers/administrators to develop and maintain academic and behavioral programs.
• Participate as an active school faculty member and conduct in-service training on special education and IDEA.
