Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K–12 students in Bedford, OH. This contract, full-time role covers 36 hours per week at $40 per hour and requires a valid state teaching certificate and a Bachelor's degree.

The role involves collaborating with program staff to plan and implement individualized instruction, provide tutorial support, and consult with general education teachers to ensure compliance with standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Valid state teaching certificate required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• LBS1 endorsement preferred.
• CPR certification current.
• Health certificate current per contract or state regulation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12.
• Participate in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
