Responsibilities

• Develops and implements plans for the curriculum program assigned with accommodations for individual student differences.
• Presents subject matter according to Texas guidelines and district policies.
• Plans and uses instructional strategies and materials that reflect individual needs.
• Assesses student learning styles and uses results to guide instruction.
• Collaborates with other special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Supervises teacher aides/volunteers and coordinates with staff on goals and methods.
