Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or Credential of Competency preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• CPI certification may be requested by administration.
• 20 hours of training each year.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in entering or leaving transportation vehicles.
• Promote behavior plans and assist with behavior management.
• Maintain attendance records for classrooms.
• Help students participate in regular education with needed supports.
• Assist with personal care such as diapering and toileting.
• Duplicate printed material and prepare teaching aids.
