Job summary

Wake Preparatory Academy is seeking a Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 year. The candidate must be willing to obtain a background check and hold a bachelor’s degree. Preference is given to those with NC teaching certification and prior Spanish teaching experience.

The role involves designing engaging lessons, assessing progress, and collaborating with colleagues to create culturally rich learning experiences for students in a supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Pass a background check.
• Preferred: NC Teaching Certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Spanish lessons aligned with curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and promote participation.
• Collaborate with language department and other staff.
• Organize activities to promote Spanish culture and language study.
• Prepare reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Support students academically and emotionally as needed.
