Gallup-Mckinley County Schools is seeking an Athletic Coach for softball at John F. Kennedy Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The SpringSport contract requires on-site work and includes salary between $4,000.00 and $4,000.00 for the season.

Internal applicants must attach a signed Permission to Coach Form with their application. Qualified candidates must hold or be able to obtain an Athletic Coaching License (7-12) and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Athletic Coaching License (7-12) must be held or obtainable.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for team success.
• Provide necessary practice support and guidance to coaches and staff to ensure competitive performance.
• Teach and enforce rules; evenings and weekends may be required.
